ABBA Inspired Hens Party Paint & Sip in Broadbeach

There’s nothing quite like a themed hens party where the group completely commits to the idea, and this ABBA inspired hens celebration in Broadbeach absolutely nailed it.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a private paint and sip for a lovely group of ladies at a beautiful Broadbeach Airbnb, and they had gone all out for the bride-to-be.

From their outfits and decorations to the music and painting choice, every detail came together to create the perfect Mamma Mia inspired afternoon.

The Theme Was On Point

From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that this group had taken their theme seriously.

The ladies had their outfits perfectly coordinated with the ABBA and Mamma Mia vibe, while the Airbnb had been beautifully decorated for the bride-to-be.

It was one of those events where you could tell how much thought and effort had gone into making the day special.

Everyone looked amazing, and the whole space felt like the perfect setting for an afternoon of painting, music, games, and celebrating.

The Painting Choice: Santorini Sea

For this hens party, the group chose our Santorini Sea painting, and it couldn't have been a more perfect choice.

With its beautiful blue water, Mediterranean feel, and relaxed coastal setting, it fitted seamlessly with their Mamma Mia inspired theme.

As everyone worked through the guided painting steps, their canvases gradually came to life.

The ladies all followed along beautifully while adding their own little touches, creating a collection of Santorini Sea paintings that looked fantastic together.

Of Course, We Had to Play ABBA

With an ABBA inspired hens party, there was absolutely no way our playlist wasn't going to include plenty of Mamma Mia and ABBA.

The playlist became part of the experience, with the girls singing along together throughout the afternoon.

Interestingly, nobody was particularly keen to take the microphone and perform a solo karaoke number!

But that didn't stop them from singing.

They happily sang along together from their seats, which somehow felt even more fitting for the afternoon.

There was something so sweet about hearing everyone singing along while they painted.

Celebrity Heads Made an Appearance

Between painting steps, the girls also enjoyed one of our favourite games — Celebrity Heads.

It was the perfect little break from the painting and gave everyone a chance to have some laughs and get a little competitive.

The game brought plenty of funny guesses and reactions, adding another fun element to the afternoon.

A Group That Was So Sweet

This group was honestly such a pleasure to teach.

Everyone was kind, encouraging, and completely embraced the experience.

They were happy to chat, paint, play games, and sing along to the music, creating such a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

It's always lovely when a group is so invested in celebrating their bride-to-be, and you could really see how much this group cared about making the day special for her.

A Perfect Mamma Mia Afternoon

By the end of the session, the room was filled with beautiful Santorini Sea paintings, ABBA playing in the background, and plenty of happy faces.

We took time throughout the afternoon to enjoy the little moments, capture photos, laugh together, and simply enjoy being part of the celebration.

With the gorgeous outfits, themed decorations, Mediterranean-inspired artwork, and plenty of Mamma Mia music, the whole afternoon felt like its own little slice of Greece.
