Bridal Shower Paint & Sip in Mermaid Beach Airbnb

There’s something so special about bridal showers that feel personal, relaxed, and full of meaningful little details and this Mermaid Beach paint and sip was exactly that.

Hosted in a beautiful Airbnb near the coast, this bridal shower brought together a lovely group of friends celebrating the bride-to-be with painting, games, drinks, and plenty of laughs along the way.

The Setting

This event took place in a gorgeous Airbnb in Mermaid Beach, creating the perfect private and intimate atmosphere for the afternoon.

One of the things I love most about hosting mobile paint and sip events in Airbnbs is how comfortable and personal they feel. Everyone can fully relax, enjoy some drinks and snacks, and celebrate together without the pressure of being in a busy public venue.

The space was filled with natural light, music, and such a warm energy from the moment I arrived to set up.

The Painting Choice: “Wildflower”

For this bridal shower, the bride’s group chose our “Wildflower” painting and it honestly could not have been more perfect for the occasion.

The painting was especially meaningful because it reminded the bride of her engagement in a beautiful lavender field, which made the session feel even more personal and sentimental.

With soft florals and calming tones, the artwork suited the vibe of the day perfectly relaxed, feminine, and creative.

A Group That Absolutely Nailed It

Everyone followed instructions carefully, and still added their own little creative touches to each canvas. Their paintings turned out absolutely beautiful, and it was so fun watching everyone gain confidence as the session went on.

One of my favourite parts of the day was seeing everyone’s finished paintings lined up together at the end each one slightly different but all looking amazing.

The Celebrity Heads Competition Got VERY Competitive

Alongside painting, the group also played our Celebrity Heads game. The room was full  guesses, laughing, and dramatic reactions every time someone got stuck on a clue. It added such a fun extra layer to the afternoon and really brought everyone together.

It’s always nice when a group fully embraces both the creative side and the silly side of the experience, and this bridal shower definitely did both.
