A Beautiful Hens Private Paint Party at The Cavill Hotel, Surfers Paradise
One of my favourite parts about running Painted Social is getting to be part of such special celebrations and our recent hens paint and sip event at the Cavill Hotel in Surfers Paradise was truly one to remember.
This gorgeous group of girls had spent the weekend celebrating the bride to be and chose a Painted Social experience as their final activity together, which made the afternoon feel even more special.
The Setting
The Cavill Hotel right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, the atmosphere was lively and fun while still giving us the perfect space to set up our painting session.
Once everything was set up, the girls arrived excited and ready to paint, sip, and celebrate the bride.
The Painting: “My Martini”
For this event we painted one of our most popular hens designs “My Martini.”
I guided everyone step by step through the painting, making sure each guest felt comfortable and confident throughout the process. One of my favourite parts of hosting is walking around during the session to help everyone individually, offering little tips and encouragement so each person leaves with a piece they’re proud of.
Even guests who said they weren’t “creative” at the start ended up producing beautiful paintings.
Games, Laughs & Hens Fun
While the paint layers were drying between steps, we kept the energy going with some fun hens party games.
For this event I brought along personalised celebrity head, which the girls paired off with and played a guessing game and it had everyone laughing instantly.
We also had music, bridal accessories and hens party props, which made the whole experience feel festive and fun for the bride and her group.
Adding Personal Touches
At the end of the session, the group also had the chance to add their own freestyle elements to their paintings.
Some added personal messages, others changed colours or added little creative touches it’s always one of my favourite moments because it allows everyone to make their artwork truly their own.
A Perfect End to the Weekend
What made this event especially lovely was that the paint and sip ended up being the final activity of the hens weekend.
It created such a relaxed and meaningful moment for the group to sit together, laugh, paint, and reflect on the celebrations they had shared.
The girls were an absolute delight to host and even left the most beautiful review afterwards:

One of the best parts was that we even got the option at the end to create our own freestyle pieces with Nikita’s help, so we could add our own personal touches.
