Hens Private Paint Party- Upper Coomera
A Special Celebration for Two Brides
Painted Social recently had the pleasure of hosting a private paint and sip hens event in Upper Coomera on the Gold Coast for two lovely brides.
The event was held at a beautiful home where the host had prepared the most welcoming setting for the evening. When we arrived, the tables were already laid with white tablecloths and lovely floral arrangements, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and creative paint and sip experience.
It was such a thoughtful touch and made the space feel instantly warm and celebratory.
A Custom Turtle Painting
For this event, the brides requested a custom turtle painting, which we designed especially for their celebration.
Custom paintings are always a favourite because they make the event feel personal and unique. Each guest was guided step by step through the turtle painting, making the experience beginner friendly while still allowing everyone to add their own creative touches.
By the end of the session, all eight guests had created beautiful turtle canvases to take home as a keepsake from the celebration.
One of the best parts of paint and sip events is that no two paintings ever look the same, and each turtle had its own personality and colour palette.
Music and Games to Keep the Energy High
The group absolutely loved the early 2000s playlist we had playing throughout the session. It created such a fun nostalgic atmosphere while everyone painted.
Between painting steps, while the layers dried, we also played some of our favourite Painted Social party games.
Some highlights included:
• Celebrity Heads, where guests tried to guess which famous person they were wearing.
• Our basket game, where players raced against each other to see who could land their ball in the basket first.
These little breaks keep the session social, interactive and full of laughter while everyone works through the painting.
A Relaxed Private Paint and Sip Experience
Hosting paint and sip events in private homes around the Gold Coast is always such a special experience. It allows groups to celebrate in their own comfortable space while still enjoying a fully guided creative activity.
The evening was relaxed, full of laughter, and such a joy to host. Seeing everyone proudly hold up their finished turtle paintings at the end of the session is always my favourite moment.
Each guest left with a beautiful handmade canvas and a memory from the celebration.
