Hens Party Paint & Sip in Kingscliff

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful hens party paint and sip in Kingscliff with a lovely group of ladies who were ready to celebrate the bride-to-be with an afternoon of painting, games, music, and good company.

From the moment everyone arrived, the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and full of excitement for the afternoon ahead.

The Painting Choice: Island Muse

For this hens party, the group selected one of our most popular paintings, Island Muse.

This artwork features a female body and is one of my favourite paintings to teach because it allows guests to personalise their artwork while still following a guided step-by-step session.

What makes Island Muse so unique is that every guest can adapt the painting to reflect themselves. Whether it's changing skin tones, adjusting body shapes, adding different features, or incorporating their own creative touches, each painting becomes completely individual.

While everyone follows the same instructions, no two finished artworks ever look exactly the same.

Watching the ladies put their own spin on the painting was such a fun part of the afternoon.

A Relaxed Afternoon in Kingscliff

This group created such a lovely atmosphere throughout the session.

There was plenty of chatting, laughter, and encouragement as everyone worked through their paintings. Some guests carefully followed every step, while others embraced their creativity and made the artwork uniquely their own.

The afternoon felt easy, relaxed, and exactly what a hens celebration should be.

The Playlist Was a Hit

Music always plays a big part in creating the right vibe for a paint and sip event.

For this session, we carefully selected a playlist that would suit the mixed ages within the group. We tried not to make it too focused on current hits, instead choosing a mix of well-known favourites that everyone could enjoy.

Judging by the singing along and positive comments throughout the afternoon, the playlist definitely hit the mark.

It's amazing how much the right music can help bring a group together and create a fun, comfortable atmosphere.

Games, Laughs and Friendly Competition

While this group decided not to participate in karaoke, they fully embraced some of the other entertainment options we bring along.

Celebrity Heads quickly became a favourite, with plenty of laughs as guests attempted to guess their mystery identities.

The basketball game also brought out a surprisingly competitive side, with lots of cheering, friendly banter, and determination to win.

These little extras help create a balance between painting, socialising, and celebrating, making the event feel like much more than just a painting class.

Beautiful Paintings All Around

As the session came to an end, it was time to admire everyone's finished artworks.

One of the best things about teaching Island Muse is seeing how different each painting becomes despite everyone starting with the same design.

The ladies absolutely nailed their paintings, and every canvas reflected a little bit of the artist behind it.

There were so many beautiful interpretations of the artwork, and the group should have been incredibly proud of what they created.
