Last Rodeo Hens Paint Party at The Cavill Hotel, Surfers Paradise

One of my favourite parts about running Painted Social is getting to be part of such fun and memorable celebrations and this “Last Rodeo” hens paint and sip at the The Cavill Hotel was definitely one to remember.

This group of 8 fabulous girls came ready to celebrate their bride in full cowgirl style, with pink cowboy hats, great energy, and the perfect party vibe from the moment they arrived.

The Setting

Located right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, The Cavill Hotel gave us the perfect space for a lively and fun hens celebration.

The atmosphere was vibrant, the drinks were flowing, and once everything was set up, the girls arrived excited and ready to paint, sip, and celebrate their friend’s “last rodeo.”

The Painting: “My Martini”

For this event, we painted one of our most popular hens designs My Martini.

This artwork features an espresso martini with a cowgirl twist, complete with a cowboy hat resting on the glass and a stylish cow print background. It’s such a fun and on theme choice, especially for a “Last Rodeo” celebration.

I guided the group step by step through the painting, making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident along the way. One of my favourite parts is walking around during the session, helping each guest individually and giving little tips so everyone leaves with something they’re proud of.

Even the girls who said they weren’t creative absolutely smashed it.

Games, Drinks & Hens Energy

While the paint dried between layers, we kept the energy up with a couple of our signature hens party games.

The girls had a few rounds of drinks, lots of laughs, and really leaned into the fun of the experience. We also had a playlist curated to the group’s preferences, which always makes such a difference in creating the perfect vibe.

Between the music, games, and painting, the whole session felt relaxed, interactive, and full of great moments.

Adding Personal Touches

At the end of the session, the girls had the chance to add their own personal touches to their paintings.

Some added little details, others played with colours it’s always such a special moment seeing everyone put their own spin on the artwork and make it uniquely theirs.

A Fun & Memorable Celebration

This hens party was the perfect mix of fun, creativity, and celebration. The “Last Rodeo” theme, pink cowboy hats, and our My Martini painting all came together to create such a memorable experience for the bride and her group.

These are the kinds of events that remind me why I love what I do bringing people together, creating a fun atmosphere, and being part of such special moments.
