Last Rodeo Hens Party Paint & Sip in Mermaid Waters

There’s nothing better than a hens party where everyone fully commits to the theme, and this Last Rodeo celebration in Mermaid Waters did exactly that.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a private paint and sip for a lovely group of 12 ladies who transformed a backyard into the perfect setting for an afternoon filled with painting, laughter, music, and unforgettable memories.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was going to be a fun one.

The Perfect Last Rodeo Theme

Every single guest embraced the Last Rodeo theme, arriving in adorable cowgirl-inspired outfits complete with different cowboy boots, denim, hats, and plenty of western flair.

Seeing everyone's unique take on the theme instantly set the tone for the afternoon and made for some incredible photos before we had even picked up a paintbrush.

The backyard was beautifully set up, creating the perfect private space to celebrate the bride-to-be with her closest friends.

The Painting Choice: Going Bananas

For this hens party, the group chose one of our cheekiest paintings, Going Bananas.

It's always a crowd favourite for hens parties because it's playful, light-hearted, and guarantees plenty of laughs throughout the session.

Although everyone started with the same design, each guest added their own little touches, making every painting completely unique.

The ladies did such a fantastic job, and it was so much fun watching everyone's confidence grow as the painting came together.

Plenty of Photo Opportunities

With outfits this good, there was no way we were getting through the afternoon without stopping for plenty of photos.

Throughout the session we took lots of picture breaks so everyone could capture memories together before getting back to painting.

Some of my favourite moments from the day were seeing everyone proudly holding up their canvases while showing off their matching cowgirl outfits.

These little moments always become some of the best memories from a hens party.

A Special Surprise

To make the afternoon even more memorable, the group added one of our most popular hens party extras a male model.

He joined the session, keeping the atmosphere fun and interactive while giving the ladies plenty of laughs along the way.

Combined with painting, music, and plenty of conversation, it created a celebration that everyone will remember for a long time.

A Backyard Celebration Done Right

One of the things I love most about hosting mobile paint and sip events is transforming someone's own backyard into the perfect party venue.

Hosting at home creates such a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can settle in, enjoy their own food and drinks, and celebrate without worrying about leaving for another venue.

It always feels more personal, and this Mermaid Waters backyard was no exception.

Twelve Amazing Paintings

By the end of the afternoon, all 12 ladies had created paintings they could genuinely be proud of.

Even guests who hadn't painted before were surprised by what they achieved, and it was so rewarding watching everyone compare their finished canvases at the end.

Despite following the same guided instructions, every painting had its own personality—just like the artists who painted them.

A Last Rodeo to Remember

This Mermaid Waters hens party was everything a Last Rodeo celebration should be—fun, relaxed, stylish, and full of laughter.

Between the gorgeous cowgirl outfits, the Going Bananas painting, countless photo opportunities, and the surprise male model, it was an afternoon packed with unforgettable moments.
